Upgrade your Wag Bag. The foil zip lock bags given out with your permit are ok for one or two days, but the waste quickly begins to create fermented gases that escape through the zip closure. The bag is vulnerable to getting stabbed or crushed in your pack, which means it’s most likely to be carried at the top of your pack, on top of your food & gear, and closer to your nose. Really gross and totally unnecessary.

Our kits use a 2 liter wide-mouth bottle that is crush proof and smell proof. Your waste first goes in a black bag, then that bag goes in the bottle. Each kit contains 1 bottle, 5 bags, poo powder and bleach powder and weighs about 315 grams (11.1 oz). Each kit is good for 1 person for about 4 or 5 days.
