AZT Shuttle Logistics

Tips & Tricks for getting to/from the northern terminus/Stateline Campground

The northern terminus of the Arizona Trail is in a remote location and can be a challenge to figure out the logistics. Here’s some tips to help with planning.

FLY THROUGH PHX

Contour Airlines has daily direct flights between PHX and Page, starting at $59 (55 min) one way. We can get you between Page and the AZT starting at $145 for 1 person. This is far cheaper than a shuttle from Las Vegas or St. George, which starts at $512.

OTHER OPTIONS

Avis will sometimes allow one-way rentals to/from Page.

U-Haul will usually have trucks or vans available for one-way rentals to/from Page.

National Park Express has a shuttle between Las Vegas and Page, starting at $95 per person (5 hours).

USING OUR SHUTTLE SERVICE

  • Use the form below to request a shuttle and get on our calendar. You pick the day and time and we’ll find someone on our team to block off their schedule for you.

  • As spring and fall are particularly busy, we recommend getting on our calendar at least six weeks in advance.

  • Once you’ve paid us and your shuttle is confirmed, our cancellation policy applies. See full details below.

  • There is a little bit of cell service on Verizon at the Stateline Campground. There is full cell service at Jacob Lake.

Southbound (Pre-hike drop off) — We sell isobutane canisters (230g and 100g) and locally made Canyon Crack and can have them waiting for you in the vehicle.

Northbound (Post-hike pick up) — Your exit day is subject to change, but we do our best to be flexible. Usually by the time you reach the Grand Canyon you’ll have a good idea of your exact exit day.
